AI Engineer
AI Remote (Worldwide) Contract
As an AI Engineer, you will build, integrate, and support generative AI features inside our clients' custom web applications. You will connect LLMs, build vector retrievers, and write data ingestion scripts. You will ensure that AI capabilities are integrated securely and respond quickly in production.
What you'll do
- Implement OpenAI, Anthropic, or local open-source LLM calls within applications.
- Develop vector indexing scripts to parse, chunk, and embed client documents.
- Troubleshoot API timeouts, prompt failures, and formatting glitches.
- Monitor token expenditures and implement API rate limiting controls.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years experience in professional software development with active AI integrations.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
- Understanding of prompt design, embeddings, and API design.
- Familiarity with Git and backend structures.
