Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
DevOps Remote (Worldwide) Contract
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure client systems maintain high availability and low latency boundaries. You will profile bottlenecks, coordinate incident response rules, and define system reliability metrics.
What you'll do
- Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for client services.
- Diagnose database lockouts, memory leaks, and CPU spikes under load.
- Build automated failover rules and auto-scaling triggers.
- Manage incident response schedules and write post-mortem reviews.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years experience in SRE, database profiling, or performance testing.
- Deep knowledge of Postgres configuration, caching layers, and load balancers.
- Methodical and calm troubleshooting habits under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
